One superstar. One available shoot date. 24 hours from shoot to telecast. For our Bigg Boss Season 20 film, going on air today, we had to think several moves ahead. Literally. At EiPi Media, we built a hybrid workflow: live action with Salman Khan, 3D/CGI for the animation, and AI to stitch everything together. Here’s where it got interesting: SK’s only available date left us just 24 hours after the shoot to deliver. So the CGI had to be completed BEFORE we filmed him. The chessboard was ready. The pieces had their choreography. Now we had to shoot a superstar into a game already in motion. On set, SK had to land on the exact chessboard tile, every single time. With giant animated pieces moving in close proximity to him, every step, pause and interaction had to line up with what we’d already built. That’s a very different kind of shoot. You’re directing a live performance inside choreography that already exists. And getting it ready for television within 24 hours takes a crew that knows its moves. Big love to the team who pulled this off. Here’s our opening move for Bigg Boss 20.
